Why Yoga in this Corporate World?
|In the corporate world, we have an abundance of stress and uncertainty around. Everyone is always in a mad-rush to prove themselves to be the best. It is normal, then, to feel lost in this maze. How does one reclaim the peace and calm in this ever-racing world?
Yoga helps in bringing back the harmony in your thoughts. It is one of the best stress-busters. An invaluable gift of ancient Indian culture to whole world, yoga embodies the unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfilment – the harmony between man and nature, and a holistic approach to health and well-being.
I strongly believe in keeping myself physically and mentally fit. I have often been called a ‘yoga freak’, and I strongly believe that only in a healthy mind and body can healthy thoughts survive and progress. Yoga helps you in purifying your thoughts and helps in bringing peace and harmony within and outside the body. The Human Body is like a temple. Just like we worship the Lord in a temple to show our gratitude, we should do the same with our body and show our gratitude by practicing yoga.”
