When we asked our alumnus, Suman Mishra(GMBA-2008) who works as an Senior Strategic Account Manager with Wipro Technologies to share his S P Jain experience, he was absolutely thrilled to share how the impact resonates across different areas of his life. He insists that he has had profound impact through three key aspects of life— the people, Infrastructure and the process. Suman has been kind to share details of his experience in our interaction. Below are excerpts from our interaction.
Q: How have the people at S P Jain shaped your MBA experience?
A: It was truly an intense packed one year with some brilliant minds at S P Jain. A multi-polar world with people of different hues. We had people join us from IT, Banks, Healthcare and even entrepreneurs. Individual brilliance makes way for team vision, team spirit – and this has indeed become my work philosophy. The friends that I’ve made at S P Jain have become Friends for Life. The experience has been truly amazing.
Q: What do you have to say about the learning infrastructure at S P Jain?
A: The way education content is delivered and consumed is quite robust and up to date. Be it the Bloomberg machines, richer non-digital and digital library, access to relevant materials, case studies, faculty and corporate relationships. The framework and tools you pick up; It’s all about enrichment—constructing a valuable MBA degree.
Q: How has the learning process contributed to your overall personality?
A: The discipline and the process which is followed in conceptualisation and evaluations at S P Jain seeds the business sense in you. A very filling and tuned to market— the syllabus and way of learning things have all made me very open to listen and adapt to new things that come my way.
