Advancing Personalised Medicine and Healthcare Innovation: Dr Naveen Vyas’s Executive MBA journey

A triumphant journey begins the moment we step outside our comfort zone — and the Executive MBA (EMBA) with SP Jain School of Global Management has been exactly that.
Balancing a medical career with an Executive MBA
The entire journey has been truly intense, rewarding, and transformative. The balance of leadership responsibilities in healthcare with the pursuit of an EMBA forced me to think beyond clinical boundaries and adopt a more strategic, systems-oriented mindset.

The entire course was structured diligently with a thorough knowledge base applied in each subject. The most meaningful outcome of this program was my Applied Strategic Project, which focused on the design of a regulatory framework for personalised medicine in the care of thalassemia.
This project combined my medical background with strategic business thinking, enabling me to bring together healthcare policy, quality standards, digital innovation, and patient-centred approaches into one framework. It also strengthened a key insight: Leadership is not about solving problems alone but about creating structures that shape possibilities.

SP Jain Global’s Engaged Learning Online (ELO) platform played a significant role in this transformation. An immersive, boardroom-style learning experience helped me collaborate seamlessly with peers across industries, refine my analytical thinking, and apply strategic tools in real time.

Graduating with a renewed sense of purpose
I am very excited and proud to have successfully completed my Executive MBA from SP Jain Global. I attended the graduation with a rekindled sense of purpose: to contribute to advanced laboratory systems, personalised medicine initiatives, regulatory frameworks, and the evolving healthcare landscape in the UAE and beyond. I’m grateful to the faculty, mentors, colleagues, and family who have made this journey memorable.
