Could you please describe your background before joining SP Jain Global’s MGB?

Before joining the Master in Global Business (MGB) program at SP Jain Global, I had several years of experience running major digital transformation projects in banking, education, and ICT.

Where are you currently working, and what is your role?

Currently, I am a lecturer in the International Business Management faculty at a public university in Vietnam. My teaching and research areas lie at the intersection of business administration, technology, and public policy. Additionally, I co-founded “Green Lotus Zero Waste” aimed at empowering green lifestyles and contributing to the inspiration of “Circular Economy” and “Sustainable Development” goals for the Gen-Z community.

How far have you progressed in your career and personal development since graduation?

After graduating from the MGB program, I was selected as the first Enterprise Customer Success Manager for the Vietnam market from a MBA graduate program at Microsoft.

How did the learnings from the MGB program help you achieve your current position?

The MGB program gave me the knowledge and skills to promote digital transformation, tech applications, and tech entrepreneurship among young Vietnamese students. In the next few years, I plan to focus on Research & Development, working on several research projects related to renewable energy, technology, and innovation in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.

How did the multicity and diversified learning model of SP Jain Global enhance your global business perspective?

The multicity model of the MGB program at SP Jain Global was instrumental in enhancing my global perspective, leadership skills, and entrepreneurial spirit—qualities essential for thriving and succeeding in multinational environments. My Singapore and Asian employers highly appreciated my global learning exposure and research projects. The research projects I worked on under the supervision of Dr. Karippur Nanda Kumar provided a crucial platform that helped me excel in tech industry and in my research journey.

From spearheading digital transformation at Microsoft Asia Pacific and Circles. Life-Singapore to shaping the next generation of leaders as a lecturer at ULSA, MGB alumna Mai Nguyen (MGB 2021) is a true trailblazer.
