Let’s find out more about Dr Abraham’s life inside and outside the SPJ classroom.

Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your professional journey?

Hello there, I am Dr Christopher Abraham, the CEO and Head of the Dubai campus at SP Jain Global.  I’m also a professor of organisational behaviour, design thinking, leadership, and many more topics like neuroscience, decision making, the science of happiness, and more. I have about 34 years of professional experience spanning across different countries including Singapore, India, Canada, the United Arab Emirates, Nigeria, and other parts of Africa.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time, I read a lot of books that dabble across neuroscience, behavioural economics, design thinking, innovation, quantum physics, and spirituality and bring multidisciplinary perspectives to my classes and my workshops.

Do you have a morning routine as you start your day at SP Jain?

I start every morning with a prayer of gratitude to the Almighty God. I believe that the mere fact that we’re alive is an act of God’s grace. And so, for me, it starts with a day of gratitude, followed by preparations for the day and my class. I like to make my classes as exciting and engaging as possible.

If you could pass on any wisdom to your students, what would you share?

The life philosophy that I’d like to share with all of you is that you need to continuously learn, unlearn and relearn – this has been my mantra always.

Three beautiful words have helped me succeed in my life so far – Love, Live, and Leave. Love everybody, live your life to the fullest, and leave a lasting legacy. I wish you good luck and God bless every one of you.
